The transition to a green economy is becoming important for Kyrgyzstan because climate change is rapidly worsening the situation with water shortages in the Central Asian region. The energy audit according to EN 16247 is a standardized study, which involves inspection, survey and analysis of the entire resource use chain in industry or construction. Thus, attention is paid not only to energy flows but also to raw material, waste and water flows and, if necessary, detailed measurements are taken. A comparative analysis of energy and water consumption and an evaluation of energy management as well as a carbon footprint analysis are carried out. A detailed set of measures to improve efficiency and optimize the use of energy/resources is developed. A comprehensive financial life cycle analysis and risk analysis is conducted for the proposed set of measures, and a time plan for implementation is developed.
