The client, a well-established furniture company in Bishkek, turned to us when it began to feel the effects of the crisis in the construction and related industries. Like many others in the furniture industry, the company faced the decline in sales and the corresponding decrease in profitability, despite the presence of a well-known brand and a base of regular customers. After careful diagnostics, our consultants found out that some new directions that client developed in addition to the main one, were not only profitable but also absorbed a great amount of resources. On top of all, the most important thing – they did not correspond to the core capabilities of the client’s business. Consultants identified major problematic points and offered solutions.
