A novice entrepreneur approached the company, dreaming of creating a multicultural orchard. Initially, he wanted to grow plums, apples, cherries, apricots, and raspberries there. In the process, our consultants convinced him to focus on the highest margin and most complementary crops – raspberries and cherries. Before the cherries would take effect, the entrepreneur would earn income from the sale of raspberries, which come into fruit in the second year. After defining the business concept, the consultants developed a financial model, which showed good profitability and a good return on investment for this business.
